If you are into furniture, you should check Stue at  Torstrasse 70, 10119 Berlin Mitte, that carries very fine selected Scandinavian design - furniture and porcelain. 

Magasin in Lychener Straße 3, 10437 Berlin Prenzlauer Berg has also some interesting pieces, also check Zwischenzeit at Raumerstr. 35 - 10437 Berlin - cheaper 60s/70s furniture and tableware. If you're in Prenzlauer Berg, you should also visit the Paper shop Mikro in Lychener Strasse 51.

The sweetest selection of kidswear carries Petite Boutique (left) at Auguststraße 58, 10119 Berlin.

The very best flower shop is in Mitte: Cara Tonga always has the best new ideas.

Berlin Restaurants

Sunday afternoon tea at Café Einstein Stammhaus at Kurfürstenstrasse 58, 10785 Berlin. A Vienna style Café with original apple cake. 

Lunch at Lebensmittel at Rochstraße 2, 10178 Berlin. German food. 

A good hangout in summer is the Berghain Kantine, the outdoor area of the famous club serves fresh homemade lemonade and burgers. Am Wriezener Bahnhof.


Dinner:

La Muse Gueule, Sredzkistraße 14, 10435 Berlin. My favourite Restaurant, french food at its best. Try the 
Merguez, that are imported directly from France once per week. 

Cocolo Ramen, Gipsstrasse 3, 10119 Berlin. Very good soups. 

Austria and Jolesch in Kreuzberg serves Austrian food. Austria is at Bergmannstr. 30, 10961 Berlin, Jolesch at Muskauer Straße 1, 10997 Berlin.

A good Schnitzel for a decent price is available in Kreuzberg's Markthalle, Pücklerstraße 34 - Weltrestaurant Markthalle.

Big Window in Wilmersdorf serves food from India and Persia and has a dominant waiter, who just tells you, what to eat today: Meat.

Good friends, Kantstr. 30, 10623 Berlin. Not pretty, but truly original Chinese food. 

Easy take-away at Slow Imbiss, Prenzlauer Allee 204, 10407 Berlin. 

The perfect hot chocolate is available at In't Veld, Dunckerstraße 10, 10437 Berlin.
